About.me powered by AOL has now just rolled out the new email feature to its user. The @about.me email addresses is now in beta testing. Earlier the about.me email addresses were only used by their team members. But now it is making as the extended service to all their users who has an about.me account.
You no need to claim the email address, your existing username will become your email address which you can use this to send and receive emails. This feature also supports the IMAP and POP email client, so you can plug in your email address into your preferred email client. You can check your incoming messages in your about.me dashboard.
To use your email address, Log in to your about.me account and go to ‘Offers’ to claim your email address.
And you can also check the emails in your AOL main inbox as you see in this screenshot.
As this feature is in beta testing, you can use this to compose, read and reply messages directly from within the about.me. This AOL mail helps more satisfaction to about.me users. If you are using the first name as your username in about.me account, then this feature will make you a cool email address.
