The desktop clients for Twitter has mostly worked out with the Adobe Air because of it reduces the memory hog issues. Along with that most popular Twitter Desktop App is TweetDeck and this is now available as a native app for Windows and Mac. This update released along with the new twitter interface which is rolled out for twitter web, iPhone, and Android users.

Though the new interface for twitter web is not yet rolled out for all users. It is randomly activating now and soon it will be available to all.

TweetDeck has some cool update with good UI and it designed to receive all updates in all at one column by defining as Home, @me and other columns as you customize. So that you can get all updates in one or two column itself.

As usual you can add the twitter and facebook accounts in TweetDeck. You can manage and access more than one twitter account or facebook account without switching among them.

The settings of tweetdeck is more less with one or two steps to changes your accounts or other settings as link shortening, display name and so on. And the clean update is you can assign the notifications and sounds for each column individually.

Overall the tweetdeck update is more flexibility and completely rebuilded with web-based framework and most importantly the non-dependency on Adobe Air.
